CIREBON - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop 3 Cirebon, West Java, provides free motor transportation services for the public to support the smooth homecoming of Lebaran. The registration period is open from March 8 to April 7, 2025.

Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 3 Cirebon, Muhibbudin, said that his party provided a total quota of 7,424 motorcycles and 16,940 passengers. The daily quota details are 232 motorcycles and 530 passengers for the north crossing, as well as 696 motorcycles and 1,590 passengers for the mid-traffic.

"This program was initiated by the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation, aimed at reducing the density of two-wheeled vehicles on the highway and improving the safety of travelers," he said in Cirebon, Antara, Monday, March 10.

Muhibudin said that the public can register this program online through the mudikgratis.dephub.go.id page or directly at the designated free motorbike post, such as at Cirebon Prujakan Station for the Daop 3 Cirebon area.

He said that participants of the free motorbike program must meet the requirements, such as ownership of ID cards, SIMs, valid STNKs, as well as motorbikes with engine capacities below 200 cc.

According to him, free motorbike homecoming transportation will depart on March 26-29, 2025, while back-to-back transportation will take place on April 4-7, 2025.

All trips in this, he said again, use an economic class train with a Public Service Obligation (PSO) scheme, so that people can enjoy safe, comfortable, and affordable transportation services.

"We invite the public to take advantage of this free motorbike program as an alternative to a safer and more efficient homecoming," he said.

He conveyed that by participating in this program, travelers can enjoy a more comfortable trip without having to face the risk of an accident on the highway due to a long trip by motorbike.

"Through the free motorbike program, we are committed to continuing to provide safer and more comfortable transportation services to support the smooth homecoming of Lebaran," he said.
