Denying The Issue Of 'Country Of Home Affairs', Minister Of Religion Nasaruddin Calls The Construction Of The Indonesian Miniature PIK Mosque

JAKARTA - Minister of Religion (Menag), Nasaruddin Umar denied the narrative that had circulated on social media (medsos) which said the PIK 2 area was a 'state of the country', because of the difficulty of finding mosques in the area.

Minister of Religion Nasaruddin said the construction of the Al-Ikhlas Mosque in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, Tangerang, Banten, was a miniature of Indonesia. Because it describes diversity within the Indonesian framework.

"The state in the country is a comparative language. If you want to say it, this is a small Indonesia," said Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar to reporters after witnessing the inaugural construction of the Al-Ikhlas PIK Mosque at Simpang Empat, Riverwalk PIK, Tangerang, Friday, March 7.

"The majority of the population here are Muslims. So it's natural that there are many mosques. This is the face of Indonesia," he continued.

Minister of Religion Nasaruddin did not want the assumption that PIK tends to lead to negative and intolerant things. Because, according to him, PIK is actually a positive example of a miniature of Indonesia.

"Well, don't overturn it. So this is proof that in PIK this is part of the reality of Indonesia, right. This is a mini Indonesia," he said.

According to the Minister of Religion, Agung Sedayu Group as the PIK developer, is sufficient to accommodate the interests of Muslims. In addition to building the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, it is also planned to build the Asadiyah PIK Grand Mosque with a capacity of 5,000 worshipers.

Later, said the Minister of Religion, the Great Mosque of Asadiyah PIK was designed as an Islamic Center or education center, as well as the development of Muslim skills.

"God willing, with this mosque, the PIK area will continue to develop into the center of religious life and civilization," he concluded.

For information, the construction of this Islamic Center complements the Syariah Tower which stands majestic in the PIK area. The tower consisting of these two towers has become a sharia-based business and finance center. Equipped with the Al-Khairiyah Mosque which means goodness.

Previously, PIK developers also built a number of Al-Hikmah Mosques in Mangrove Tourism Park, An-Nur Mosque on North Pantai Indah, Al-Muhajirin Mosque in Agung Sedayu Tower, Al-Khairiyah Mosque at Syariah PIK II Tower.
