Boost Charge Alva Can Be For Other Electric Motorcycles? This Is The Answer

JAKARTA - Alva is one of the electric motorcycle brands in Indonesia that sells its products using a charging system, different from its competitors who apply swaps or battery exchanges.

To accommodate the ownership of electric motorcycles, the manufacturer under the auspices of PT Indika Energy Tbk will build more Boost Charge Stations this year. However, is this service only for Alva's motorcycle?

Responding to this, CEO Alva Purbaja Pantja said the facility could be compatible with other electric motors but needed communication with other manufacturers in the adapter provider.

"Now there is a communication problem between our chargers and other motorbikes. If communication is opened, other motorbikes have the opportunity to use our charging," said Purba when met by the media at the Iftar 2025 event in Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, March 6.

He said his party had not yet received talks with other producers, but his party was open about the partnership.

"For now there is no such thing because we only have 17 points. But we hope that in the future we can realize cooperation and others," added Purba.

Purba also has not provided details regarding the cooperation that will be carried out, but it can be ascertained that the Boost Charge Station service is suitable for other electric motorcycles.

"We haven't given the details yet, but technically it is very possible. Even though the connectors are not the same, all of the adapters can be linked," explained Purba.

For now, Alva has only 17 Boost Charge Station services located at a number of partner outlets.

Purba also explained that this year there will be 200 Boost Charge Stations prioritized in a number of big cities in Indonesia.

"Our target this year will add outlet points and present 200 boost charge stations with priority placements in a number of big cities," concluded Purba.
