JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency announced that the free homecoming quota for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is full of people who register. Free homecoming is only opened today with a quota of 22,403 people.
"The Jakarta Provincial Government's Free Homecoming Quota 2025 has run out. Thank you for the enthusiasm of the people of DKI Jakarta in registering for the 2025 DKI Jakarta Provincial Government free homecoming," wrote the announcement of the Dishubdkijakarta Instagram account, Friday, March 7.
The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency said that it is currently verifying free homecoming registrants. If there are registrants who do not meet the requirements, then the remaining registration quota will be reopened.
"We apologize to Dishub friends who have not had the opportunity to register because the quota has been fully fulfilled. Dishub friends who have successfully registered can immediately attend the Verification location according to the predetermined schedule," he explained.
In this year's Eid, the DKI Provincial Government will send travelers to 20 cities in 6 provinces. Meanwhile, the motorcyclists were delivered to 6 terminals. The DKI Provincial Government has prepared 520 buses with a capacity of 22,403 people. Also provided are 20 trucks to transport 600 two-wheeled vehicles.
"For the homecoming flow, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency will deploy 293 buses carrying 12,599 people and 10 trucks containing 300 motorbikes. For backflow, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency will provide 228 buses carrying 9,804 people and 10 trucks with a capacity of 300 motorbikes," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Syafrin Liputo in his statement, Thursday, March 6.
Free homecoming passengers will depart from the National Monument on March 27, 2025. Meanwhile, the truck carrying a motorbike will depart from the Pulogadung Terminal on March 26, 2025.

Then, the truck departure from the six terminals for homecoming to Jakarta will be carried out on April 5, 2025 and the bus returns to Jakarta from the 20 terminals for homecoming on April 6, 2025.
"We are trying to provide the best service in the implementation of Lebaran Transportation in 2025, both homecoming and backflow. With this, it is hoped that it can improve safety and reduce the number of travelers' accidents, especially those using motorbikes," explained Syafrin.
To residents who want to register for a free homecoming program, the administrative completeness needed is a family card (KK), prioritizing the DKI Jakarta ID card, and STNK (if you bring a motorbike). Each registrant can add a maximum of three family members in one family.
