Betrayed To The State, Russian Citizens Of Military Spying Imprisoned For 15 Years
JAKARTA - A man accused of spying on the Russian navy on behalf of Ukraine was sentenced by Russian military courts to 15 years in prison.
The Russian attorney general's office said Dmitry Levin, a Russian citizen, was found guilty of high treason and became part of a terrorist organization.
"On instructions from its management, it gathers information about Russian naval ships in the waters of Teluk Tsemes in Novorossiysk, as well as about the location of military and airfield units, and methods to protect them," he said.
"He sent the data he received via courier to representatives of the Ukrainian special service," continued the Russian Attorney General's office.
