Residents Of Kampung Bayam Will Be Hired In JIS Area, Pay Rental For Kampung Susun Bayam Cut From Salary
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially handed over the keys to the residence of Kampung Susun Bayam to the residents of Kampung Bayam Madani whose residences were evicted due to the construction of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
Kampung Susun Bayam was founded since the leadership of Anies Baswedan in 2022. For several years, residents of Kampung Bayam and BUMD PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as managers did not agree on the rental rate for the residence.
As a solution, Pramono decided that the residents of Kampung Bayam would be employed by Jakpro in the JIS area so that they could pay for the rental house of Kampung Susun Bayam.
Later, Jakpro will provide urban farming land in the JIS area so that residents of Kampung Bayam can grow crops and benefit from the sale of crops.
"For urban farming, it has actually become the expertise of fellow farmers here, only the problem is that this is to be made more modern, they are taught a more correct system, so that their way of thinking will also change," said Pramono in Kampung Susun Bayam, North Jakarta, Thursday, March 6.
Pramono admitted that he would mobilize regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) in the food sector to buy crops from urban farming activities for the residents of Kampung Bayam.
"So, the supply chain or supply chain or whatever this ecosystem is formed is made to be better. If that can be done, then I am sure this will be better for all of us," he said.

President Director of PT Jakpro Iwan Takwin said that his party would recruit residents of Kampung Bayam who live in Kampung Susun Bayam to be employed as farmers on the urban farming land.
Later, residents of Kampung Bayam will be paid by Jakpro with an equivalent value of the DKI Jakarta provincial minimum wage (UMP). Then, the payment for the rental of Kampung Susun Bayam will be deducted from their salary.
"So per month they rent Rp1.7 million. Where in the process they work here, we earn according to the UMR, and then we cut the salary for the rental fee," explained Iwan.
"We have discussed with the residents. Finally, we agreed to carry out a rental mechanism and cut from their salaries while working at JIS," he added.
