Looking For Causes Of Death, Police Exhumation Of The Bodies Of Yogyakarta Residents Died Allegedly Due To Miras Oplosan
YOGYAKARTA - The Yogyakarta Regional Police Bidokkes together with the Bantul Police conducted an exhumation of the body of RKP (21), a resident of Wirogunan, Yogyakarta City, allegedly died from mixed liquor a few days ago.
"This exhumation is carried out to check medical knowledge about the cause of death and whether there are irregularities," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bantul Police, Iptu Iqbal Satya Bimantara in his statement after an exhumation was carried out at the Lowanu Cemetery, Mergangsan, Yogyakarta City, Thursday.
RKP and his friend with the initials MAM (25) died after consuming adulterated liquor in Ngumbul, Tamanan Village, Bantul Regency on Saturday (1/3) afternoon. Apart from them, two other teenagers also became victims of adulterated alcohol, namely KPP (25) and AF (27), but survived after being treated medically.
Kasat Reskrim said this exhumation was part of an effort to investigate the cause of death of the RKP victim, because two other survivors were still being treated and could not be questioned.
"Meanwhile, we will carry out an exhumation of one (makam) first. As a result, we will wait for the results of the forensic doctor's examination, depending on the forensic medicine," he said.
He said that for the time being the content of the mixed liquor that allegedly killed two young girls from Yogyakarta City is not yet known.
"We also don't know the materials for the mix because we are also waiting for the available evidence because the existing items are still being examined," he said.

Iptu Iqbal said that whatever the results of this exhumation did not rule out the possibility that the suspect would be raised, but related to the possibility of a suspect in this case, the police are still waiting for the entire investigation to be completed.
"We are waiting for the investigation first, what is the cause. We are not closing all possibilities, it could be all the suspects, there could be only one, there could be no suspect, but this is still mine, we have not received confirmation, especially the information at the scene at the time of the incident," he said.
