Judge PA Batam Stabbed OTK At Home, Police Investigate The Identity Of The Perpetrator
JAKARTA - The police investigated the stabbing incident of the Batam City Religious Court Judge (PA), Gusnahari by an unknown person (OTK) that occurred on Thursday, March 6 morning.
"The team is conducting an investigation," said Kasatreskrim Polresta Barelang AKP Debby Tri Andrestian in Batam, Thursday, March 6, confiscated by Antara.
Debby said this incident was handled directly by the Barelang Police in collaboration with the Sekupang Police.
"Handling at the Barelang Police," he said.
Investigators are gathering information related to the incident to find out the identity of the perpetrator, including the motive behind the stabbing incident.
The stabbing of Judge Gusnahari was confirmed by the Public Relations of the Batam Ajizon Religious Court (PA).
The incident occurred Thursday, March 6 at around 07.15 WIB, when Judge Gusnahari was about to leave for work from his home in Cipta Garden Housing RT 1 RW 15 Sungai Harapan Village, Sekupang District, Batam City.
The stabbing occurred when Judge Gusnahari walked from house to car park which was about 100 meters away.
"According to his statement, he headed for a car that happened to be parked about 100 meters away and suddenly attacked by an unknown person and hit him," he said.

The perpetrator of the stabbing was wearing a helmet so it was difficult to identify. The perpetrator immediately fled using a motorbike after stabbing judge Gusnahari.
"After the stabbing, the perpetrator wearing a helmet went straight to the motorbike and one person was waiting for him to use a motorbike," he said.
As a result of the incident, Judge Gusnahari received medical treatment at the Batam Authority Hospital (RSOB) due to lacerations in his right tag.
Judge Gusnahari is known to have only served at the Batam Sekupang Religious Court for almost two years. The motive for the attack on the religious court judge is not yet known.
