This Afternoon, 36 RTs In Jakarta Are Still Flooded Up To 2 Meters
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded that tens of RTs in East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and West Jakarta were still flooded up to 2 meters this afternoon.
Jakarta Floods have hit this time due to heavy rains in the Jabodetabek area and overflowing rivers since Sunday, March 2 and Monday, March 3, 2025. On Tuesday, March 4, the flood had inundated 122 RTs.
"BPBD noted that at 12.00 WIB the inundation occurred in 36 RTs," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Data and Information Center Mohamad Yohan in his statement, March 5.
Currently, at least 2,978 flood-affected residents have fled to a number of schools to places of worship in Kampung Melayu Village, Bidara Cina, Cililitan, Kembangan Selatan, Kembangan Utara, Rawa Buaya, Kedoya Selatan, Pengadegan, and Bintaro.
"The assistance that has been distributed is ready-to-eat food, kidsware packages, mineral water, blankets, family kits, mukena, and mattresses," said Isnawa.

Extreme rainfall also caused several rivers to overflow, such as the Ciliwung River, Pesanggrahan River, Krukut River, Angke River, to Grogol River. The worst flood point was in settlements near the overflowing riverbanks.
