BPJS Employment Asks Former Sritex Workers To Immediately Take Care Of JKP
JAKARTA - The Employment Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) asked former PT Sritex workers to immediately take care of job loss guarantees (JKP) after completing the old age security filing (JHT).
"Here we have an education on the job loss guarantee program, we educate workers," said BPJS Ketenagakerjaan President Director Anggoro Eko Cahyo on the sidelines of a review of JHT filing services for former Sritex workers in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, Antara, Wednesday, March 5.
He said that after JHT was finished they could register for JKP on the SIAPkerja application.
"They will input there, register there, have their electricity checked. Only later will they benefit for six months by 60 percent," he said.
He said the policy was in accordance with Government Regulation Number 6 of 2025, which included regulating workers affected by the Termination of Work Relations (PHK) getting 60 percent of cash from wages for a maximum of six months.
"In addition, they also get the benefits of job training and work assessors from the Manpower Office. So there are two things. Therefore, on this occasion we are at the same time educating," he said.
Meanwhile, the JHT filing service is proof that the state is present for the community, including workers who are laid off.
"The state is here to ensure employees get BPJS Employment protection. If you look at the data, there are more than 8,000 who will get compensation. All participate in the complete program, work accident guarantees, death insurance, old age insurance, pension guarantees, and job loss guarantees," he said.
Related to this, his party together with the Sritex Task Force are trying to be proactive in providing services.
