Jinan Laetitia Presents The First Religious Song Through Collaboration With Dwiki Dharmawan

JAKARTA - Jinan Laetitia launched a work in the form of religious songs for the first time. In order to welcome Ramadan this year, he collaborated with Dwiki Dharmawan to repackage the song By Calling Allah'.

The collaboration between Jinan and Dwiki presents a new feel for this song which is different from the original version performed by Novia Kolopaking in 1992 or the rearrangement carried out by Color, Gigi, Marshanda, to Ita Purnamasari.

"The version of Om Dwiki and I combine the classic nuances of the orchestra with contemporary R&B. We want to create a calming but still encouraging atmosphere for those who listen," Jinan said in his statement, Wednesday, March 5.

Meanwhile, the touch of the orchestra was recorded directly in Prague, the Czech Republic with Czech Symphony Orchestra, and the processing was sent to Indonesia to be mixed by Osvaldori.

Jinan said he was happy with the release this time. The 22-year-old singer feels grateful that she was given the opportunity to show her musical colors in the realm of Indonesian religious music.

"I am very happy to be able to issue my first religious song, especially also have the opportunity to collaborate with Om Dwiki Dharmawan," he said.

"My focus in this song is to be able to combine the style of Jinan and the style of Om Dwiki. We both provide space for each other to shine, create the right harmony," continued Jinan.

Dwiki also conveyed the reason, when choosing Jinan as a collaborator to sing his song with Ags. Arya Dipayana.

"I deliberately invited young singer musicians to sing this song together with new nuances, new styles, and fresh ideas. Jinan Laetitia is a young musician who I admire his achievements and creative ideas. He is very genuine and fresh. his idea," said Dwiki.

"I hope the song By Calling Allah's name the version of me and Om Dwiki Dharmawan can accompany and encourage you to fast every year," said Jinan.

At the same time, Jinan also gave a leak for the project being worked on. After launching his debut album One in 2022, he is preparing with his second album.
