Dominated By Pertamina, Jasa Marga Opens Opportunities For Shell Cs Gas Stations To Open In Rest Areas

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk opens the opportunity for private Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) to open in toll road rest areas managed by the company.

Jasa Marga President Director Subakti Syukur admitted that Pertamina gas stations dominate at the Rest Area managed by Jasa Marga. This is because Jasa Marga and Pertamina have put pressure on the MoU.

"So for gas stations, we happen to have MoU with Pertamina," he said at a press conference at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, written Wednesday, March 5.

Even so, Subakti said that his party opened up opportunities to cooperate with private gas stations. Such as Shell, BP AKR, and Vivo.

However, continued Subakti, Jasa Marga will still adjust to the direction from the Ministry of SOEs.

"But we are open. And also of course at the direction of the Ministry of SOEs," he said

Along with Jasa Marga signing the MoU with Pertamina, Subakti continued, specifically for the rest of the Travoy area, it only opens cooperation with PT Pertamina (Persero).

Subakti explained the reason. He said that if it is opened to other gas stations, it is feared that Pertamina gas stations will be quiet, because the traffic of vehicles refueling in the rest area is not crowded.

"But coincidentally, those who are already MoU may be afraid that they won't sell well, on the toll road it's actually not too crowded except for the peak days," said Subakti.

For your information, the following rest areas of the travoy managed by Jasa Marga are spread across several areas, including Rest Area KM 88A and 88B Cipularang Toll Road, Rest Area KM 207A Palikanci Toll Road, Rest Area KM 360B, 379A, 398B and 391A Batang-Semarang Toll Roads, as well as Rest Area KM 597A and 597B Ngawi-Kertosono Toll Roads.

Meanwhile, a number of private gas stations in several toll road rest areas include the Shell Jagorawi-1 gas station, the bp rest area KM 72A Cipularang toll road, the bp rest gas station area KM 819A Pasuruan-Probolinggo toll road (Managed by PT Waskita Toll Road), the bp rest area gas station KM 833B Pasuruan-Probolinggo toll road (Managed by PT Waskita Toll Road).
