Kremlin Considers London's Resolution Summit Of Support To Ukraine In Vain, Enmity Is Considered To Continue

The Kremlin said promises made by European leaders at a summit in London on Ukraine last weekend to increase funding to Kyiv would not help realize a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and other Western leaders on Sunday, March 2.

They agreed to draw up a Ukraine peace plan to be delivered to the United States two days after Zelenskyy clashed with President Donald Trump at the White House.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the results of the summit included a $2 billion air defense missile deal from Britain allowing hostilities to continue.

The Kremlin emphasized that it was very important for Zelenskyy to be forced to change its position and seek peace.
