Pretrial Session Hasto Volume Two Held Today

JAKARTA - The trial for the pretrial filed by the Secretary-General of the PDI-P (PDIP), Hasto Kristiyanto, will be held at the South Jakarta District Court for the second time, today.

Hasto is known to have filed two lawsuits related to the validity of the process of determining him as a suspect in the alleged bribery case at the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR RI and the alleged obstruction of the investigation.

Based on the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the South Jakarta District Court, the trial will begin at 09.00 WIB.

"Monday, March 3, 2025, at 09.00 WIB until it is finished, the agenda for the first trial is as written on the SIPP website of the South Jakarta District Court quoted on Monday, March 3.

The trial of the pretrial case number 23/Pid.Pra/2025/PN JKT.SEL will be tried by Tunggal Judge Afrizal Hadi. This trial tested whether or not the determination of the suspect Hasto was based on Sprindik Number Sprin.Dik/153/DIK.00/01/12/2024 regarding the alleged bribery.

Meanwhile, the trial of the lawsuit with case number 24/Pid.Pra/2025/PN JKT.SEL will be handled by the Single Judge Rio Barten Pasaribu to examine whether or not the determination of the suspect Hasto is legal regarding the alleged obstruction of the investigation based on Sprindik Number Sprin.Dik/152/DIK/DIK.01/12/2024.

Previously it was reported, Hasto through his attorney was known to have submitted a pretrial application to the South Jakarta District Court. However, the sole judge who handled the case decided not to accept the lawsuit, on February 13. The reason is because the lawsuit is considered unclear or vague.

It is known that the KPK developed a bribery case for interim replacement (PAW) that ensnared former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan and his fugitive, Harun Masiku. Two people were later named as suspects, namely PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and Donny Tri Istiqomah who are PDIP cadres as well as lawyers.

Hasto is also a suspect in the obstruction of the investigation. He is suspected of trying to obstruct the legal process, one of which is by asking Harun to damage his cellphone and run away after the arrest operation (OTT) was carried out.
