Messi And Griezmann Bring Barca To Beat Getafe 5-2
JAKARTA - Barcelona faces Getafe at the Camp Nou, Friday, April 23 in the morning. Prior to kick-off, Ronald Koeman's men were still fighting for the La Liga trophy as they finished fourth in the standings. Barca is two points behind Sevilla, five behind Real Madrid, and eight behind Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona immediately took the lead in the ninth minute through Lionel Messi. The Argentine has been in high spirits since the turn of the year, and he wasted no time continuing his master class last weekend in Seville. Sergio Busquets cleaved the defense with a superb ball and Messi made no mistake after finding the net.
Getafe equalized three minutes later, after Angel Rodriguez's effort was deflected by Clement Lenglet and past Marc-Andre ter Stegen. However, Barca took the lead again in the 28th minute with a cute own goal from Sofian Chakla.
Messi then appeared again with another magical moment to make Barcelona 3-1 in the 34th minute. Putting the Blaugrana under cruise control, Getafe instead pulled one back through Enes Unal's penalty due to Ronald Araujo's mistake.
