His Girlfriend's Confinement In Warehouse For Days, Women In North Carolina Wanted By Police

JAKARTA - A woman from North Carolina, United States, was wanted by the police for attempted murder for locking her boyfriend in a warehouse.

His girlfriend was stuck for several days without food or water before being saved.

Robin Deato, 52, of Matthews, North Carolina, is being hunted on charges of attempted murder and kidnapping, the Monroe Police Department said.

His 51-year-old girlfriend was locked up in the warehouse on Thursday. Deaton allegedly convinced his girlfriend to go into the warehouse to take something.

The perpetrator then closed the warehouse and said, 'This is what you get,' according to the police.

"The victim has no food, water or electricity sources, and there are two keys in the storage unit," the police said.

The man called 911 on Monday and told operator officers his girlfriend locked him up at the Cooper Storage at Monroe.

"I've been locked up in the warehouse for about a week, and I just found my phone," he said in a 911 call, released by Union County Emergency Services reported by ABC News, Thursday, February 27.

"My girlfriend is here. She doubled the key," said the victim.

"I can't breathe. I didn't drink anything or anything," the victim said.

Officers responded to the facility at around 13.15 a.m. on Monday, according to the incident report. The man was taken to a local hospital but has been discharged.
