Fulfilling The President's Promise, Kemendikdasmen Kajati Bansos Guru

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) is reviewing the provision of social assistance (bansos) for non-ASN teachers and non-sertifications who cannot afford it.

Secretary General (Sesjen) of the Ministry of Education and Culture Suharti said the social assistance was the President's promise to celebrate National Teacher's Day (HGN) 2024.

"So on National Teacher's Day 2024, the President promised to provide assistance to non-ASN teachers and non-sertifications who could not afford it. So now it is in the process of matching data with National Sole Social Economic Data (DTSEN)," said Secretary General Suharti as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 27.

His party is currently in the stage of reviewing the number of social assistance recipients and the amount of social assistance received later by each teacher.

Earlier on Wednesday (26/2), the Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf, said that his party collaborated with the Ministry of Education and Culture and BPS in matching teacher data for social assistance distribution from the President.

"The data must be one door, so solid data can be provided," said the Minister of Social Affairs

Regarding this, the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, said that the process of matching teacher data requires two-way communication with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religion.

The matching, he continued, will be compiled by entering the name, NIK, certification status to employee status.

"BPS has the task of providing sectoral data coaching. In the future, we will direct the ministry to complete the data," said Amalia.

He said the matching of the names of teachers who would be given social assistance was checked according to DTSEN so that when a double name was found, they could immediately be checked according to a single NIK at DTSEN.

"With DTSEN, we can clean it and make it better," he said.

According to him, the collaboration between ministries/agencies is an effort to make President Prabowo's program a success.
