Commission IV Of The House Of Representatives Asks The Government To Collect A Fine Of IDR 48 Billion To Sea Restrictions Perpetrators In Tangerang
JAKARTA - Member of Commission IV of the House of Representatives Daniel Johan asked the government to ask the government to impose a fine of Rp48 billion on sea fencers in Tangerang waters.
He asked the state to be firm in resolving the issue of the horrendous 30-kilometer sea fence.
This was conveyed by Daniel during a working meeting of Commission IV of the DPR with the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Thursday, February 27.
"Has the Rp48 billion fines been paid by the perpetrators? Will the state charge the fines to the perpetrators?", said Daniel.
Daniel assessed that the explanation given by KKP Minister Wahyu Trenggono regarding the case of the sea fence was very worrying. Because according to him, the state seems to have lost to other powers.
"In this country, there should be no power that exceeds the state. The state must not lose. Moreover, it is defeated by forces that violate the law. But the results conveyed by the Minister of KKP, it feels like the state has lost," said the PKB politician.
According to the latest developments in the marine fence case, Daniel continued, the village head of Kohod Arsin and a village staff with the initials T have been named suspects and detained by the police. They were detained for allegedly committing a criminal act of document forgery.
"They were detained for criminal acts of document forgery. I have not heard of them being detained because they are the perpetrators of the construction of the sea fence," said the legislator for the West Kalimantan electoral district I.
Daniel said that from the results of the KKP examination, Minister Trenggono wanted to confirm that the 30.16 kilometer long sea fence was the village head and his staff. According to Daniel, the results of the KKP examination gave rise to a big question mark.
"Is it true that the village head and his apparatus built the sea fence? Why do they build the sea fence?", said Daniel.
"Please explain how the inspection was carried out whose conclusion was that the one who built the sea fence was the village head. I want to understand, what is the interest of the village head to build a sea fence?", he continued.
