Udayana Military Command Investigate Death Of Soldier In Singaraja
DENPASAR - Military Regional Command (Kodam) IX/Udayana formed a special team to investigate the case of the death of a TNI soldier with the initials Serka INS (48), a member of Denpal IX/3 Singaraja, Buleleng Regency, Bali.
Head of Information for Kodam (Kapendam) IX/Udayana Colonel Infantry Agung Udayana said Sergeant INS was suspected of committing suicide, but the internal team of the Udayana Military Command is still conducting further investigations to reveal the main cause of the death of the TNI soldier.
"Meanwhile, a joint internal investigation team from the Kodam has been formed to investigate the incident," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 27.
Agung said Serka INS was found dead on Wednesday (26/2) at around 11.55 WITA.
Based on information from his colleagues and unit commanders, said Kapendam, SerkaINS was a good and disciplined soldier.

When asked about the background of the incident, Kapendam said he did not know for sure because he had to wait for the results of the investigation from the team who was working to uncover the case.
"If there are findings or further developments from the investigation team, we will inform them transparently," he said.
