KemenP2MI Facilitates Return Of 5 Migrant Workers Who Died In Taiwan To Hometown

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (KemenP2MI) facilitates the return of the bodies of five Indonesian migrant workers from Taiwan.

Based on a report from the Indonesian Trade and Economic Office (KDEI) in Taipei, the five migrant workers are Heri Kriswanto from Pemalang, Central Java, Siti Rhamdani from Rembang, Central Java, Warsim from Indramayu, West Java, Khoirun Nasihah from Banyuwangi, East Java and Jantye Makatengkeng from North Jakarta, DKI Jakarta.

The late Heri worked as a fisherman in Taiwan and died drowning while helping the captain of the ship when he fell at sea. Warsim also worked as a fisherman and died in hospital care due to work accidents. Furthermore, Siti Rhamdani and Khoirun Nasihah died from a brain hemorrhage in the hospital. Both work as caregivers/caregivers and nurses at nursing homes. Then Jantye Makatengkeng works as a crew member who died in hospital after suffering an accident fell into the sea during the evacuation process from the ship that ran aground.
