Hasto Reminds PDIP Cadres To Take Care Of Megawati After Being Detained By KPK
Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto left a message to all cadres before carrying out an examination after being detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today, Thursday, February 26. They were asked to protect PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri from parties who wanted to mess with the party.
"To all PDIP Party cadres, all sympathizers and members of my message, keep all the fighting spirit to take care of Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, the muruah is from those who want to stir up the PDI-P," Hasto told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, February 26.
On that occasion, Hasto also ensured that he was in good condition. He was received, and even received assistance from the detainees at the KPK Detention Center.
This moment occurred when he entered an isolation cell at the KPK's Red and White Detention Center. He said, many prisoners gave coffee to tea.
"I was very well received by the other prisoners, the red and white residents, even then when I was isolated many who provided assistance were in the form of tea coffee and then I also gave a fighting spirit about the satyam Eva Jayate that the Truth would win," he said.

Previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was officially detained in connection with the bribery case for the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR RI and the obstruction of the investigation on Thursday, February 20. He will occupy the State Detention Center Branch of the Class I State Detention Center in East Jakarta for 20 days and can be extended according to the needs of investigators.
Hasto was charged with Article 21 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
As for the bribery case related to PAW, members of the DPR RI, the process will be carried out simultaneously. This is because the investigation warrant (sprindik) issued on December 23, 2024, focuses more on the application of Article 21.
