Prabowo Doesn't Want To Be Nominated Again In 2029 If In The Fourth Year He Is Disappointed With His Achievements

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto stated that he would not run again in the 2029 presidential election during a speech at the Democratic Party's VI Congress. Prabowo does not want to run again if he is disappointed with his achievements while leading Indonesia in the next four years.

Prabowo asked the Indonesian people to always correct their leadership. If they are not loyal, then the people do not need to support the government's performance.

"I say here, as soon as you feel, as soon as you see the sign that Prabowo Subianto is not loyal to the Indonesian people, at that time I asked you to correct me. If necessary, I don't have to succeed," said Prabowo, Tuesday, February 25.

Prabowo explained that he was not willing to be re-nominated as president if in the first period, his achievements were disappointing.

The general chairman of Gerindra was surprised that he had only been working for 100 days and had been nominated again as a presidential candidate for the 2029 presidential election.

"Yesterday I was nominated by my party to run again in 2029, naughty people are my cadres. It has only been 100 working days, but I said, if in the 4th year I serve and I am disappointed with my achievements, I will not run in 2029," said Prabowo.

"I'm ashamed of the Indonesian people. For what purpose, if you can't afford it, I respect it," he continued.

Prabowo also mentioned about his 73 years old age. In fact, according to him, he could have been called God earlier than the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia as well as the Chairman of the Democratic Party's High Council, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who was more senior than him for two years.

"The problem is Mr. SBY, we grew up from being young, now we are young, don't laugh, we are all definitely called God, not necessarily according to the date of birth," said Prabowo.
