Lawyer Ronlad Tannur Denies About 150 Thousand SGD Money, Claims To Be Pressured By Investigators Until They Will Be Shocked

JAKARTA - Gregorius Ronald Tannur's lawyer, Lisa Rachmat, claimed to be forced to provide information regarding the giving of money to Erintuah Damanik, who is an inactive judge at the Surabaya District Court. Because during the examination process the investigators pressed him, they even wanted to kill him.

This statement was conveyed when he testified in the trial of alleged bribery and gratification with the three inactive judges of the Surabaya District Court, namely Erintuah Damanik, Mangapul and Heru Hanindyo.

Initially, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) confirmed the Minutes of Investigation (BAP) number 40 dated November 11, 2024. It contained the provision of money to smooth the acquittal for Ronald Tannur's case.

"Ini di BAP saudara Ini?" tanya jaksa dalam persidangan di Pengadilan Tipikor Jakarta, Selasa, 25 Februari.

Lisa immediately denied the contents of the BAP. It is said that he has objected to asking investigators to replace it.

"BAP Ini saudara paraf dan saudara signi Ini?" tanya jaksa menegaskan.

"Well, yes, but I asked to be replaced because it wasn't my money and I never handed over money to Pak Damanik and Pak Damanik never asked me for money," replied Lisa.

"In the BAP, you confirmed that your signature was initial?" said the prosecutor.

"Well, I've asked to be replaced, sir, that's not my statement," replied Lisa.

The debate ensued. The judge then took over and asked both parties to calm down. The judge ordered the prosecutor to read out the contents of the BAP.

The prosecutor said that at the BAP, he explained that Lisa Rachmat was contacted by Erintuah Damanik on the evening of July 25. During the communication, Ronald Tannur's lawyer was questioned about his ability to come to Surabaya.

Arriving in Surabaya, on July 26, Lisa Rachmat headed to her house in Kendal Sari Selatan. Then took 150 thousand SGD worth of money.

"Furthermore, Mr. Erintuah called me and then I was conveyed to meet on Jalan Raya Darmo, I asked where it was? He said that on Jalan Raya Darmo near Hokben with the mosque, then I told him that if I waited in front of Hokben, I would turn on the light as I turned on, I took a taxi. Approximately 15 or 20 minutes the red Erintuah car parked in front of the taxi I was riding after that I got off and brought the money that I put into the cloth bag to approach Mr. Damanik's car," he said.

"After that, Mr. Damanik lowered the glass and then I handed the money to Mr. Damanik. Mr. Damanik asked me how much is this? And I answered 150, then I returned to Surabaya's juanda airport and then I ordered a ticket and I returned to Jakarta that night with a super water jet plane," continued the prosecutor reading the contents of the BAP.

Lisa denied this by stating that the statement had been asked to be replaced by investigators. This is because the statement was made under pressure.

"That's what I will clarify, sir, because before this there was Pak Damanik's confession. So please what you asked Mr. Damanik first. I was pressured by investigators to admit that Pak Damanik admitted that he received money from me," said Lisa.

"Only this is pure information from the witness when examined?" asked the prosecutor.

At that time, Lisa said that the information was deliberately directed. This is because the pressure carried out by investigators is very large. In fact, he wanted to destroy it.

"Yes, but I made this statement, sir, because I was afraid that I would be billed a lot, and I was pressured to confess, I even want to be electrified, sir," said Lisa.
