The word Hikayat is a reflection of the two aspects behind the collaboration of this mode, namely, the dynamics of Islamic travel in Indonesia (as the biggest factor in the birth of modestwear) and weaving in the archipelago, which both have stories and values among the community, like a hikayat.

Cita Raya Collection: HIKAYAT presents 52 collections of women'swear and menswear with a touch of weaving created by four fashion labels, offering a variety of color palettes and silhouettes by maintaining a closed and elegant modestwear character. The variety of woven fabrics is combined with materials such as cotton and linen, and enriched with embroidery and patchwork techniques to provide a touch of more dynamic details but still breathable. Thus, this collection can become a single item capable of being a fashion statement, as well as being a layered styling (layering) with other clothes.

In particular, this collection uses original woven fabrics from local craftsmen fostered by Cita Tenun Indonesia (CTI). The woven fabrics have a diversity of techniques, patterns, and color combinations, originating from various CTI fostered areas such as West Kalimantan, West Java, Bali, Central Java, South Sumatra, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, Southeast Sulawesi, and South Sulawesi.

The four brands; IKYK, RiaMiranda Signature, Kami., and Artkea Stripes, bring their unique interpretation of woven fabrics in modestwear, presenting sub-themes that also reflect their respective design philosophy and aesthetics.
