At The Trial, The Police Revealed That The Perpetrator Of The Shooting Of The Car Rental Boss Was Recorded By CCTV

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang Police, Kompol Arief Nazaruddin Yusuf, revealed that the perpetrator of the shooting of Ilyas Abdurrahman's car rental boss at Rest Area Km45, Tangerang-Merak Toll Road was caught on surveillance cameras (closed circuit television/CCTV).

"The witness explained that seeing CCTV means seeing people on CCTV, is it clear that the person who did the shooting?" asked the military oditur during a follow-up hearing at the Military Court II-08 Jakarta, East Jakarta, Monday, February 24, as reported by ANTARA.

"After several methods were carried out and it was corroborated by witness testimony," said Arief.

Oditur also asked Arief to appear before the defendant. The witness also said that the perpetrator who was recorded on CCTV or based on witness testimony was Defendant 1, namely the Head Classi (KLK) Bambang Apri Atmojo.

"Try to face the witness to the right, we need to explain which person on the far left of the defendant is one, the person in the middle of defendant two, the defendant's rightmost three, after you did CCTV, which defendant did the shooting ?," asked the oditur.

"Ready, defendant one. Through scientific, clues and corroborated by witness testimony," said Arief.

In addition, Arief said that initially the police secured evidence at the crime scene, including CCTV and conducted a crime scene investigation.

From some of the evidence obtained, the Tangerang Police combines a crime investigation method that uses scientific identification, collects clues, identifies CCTV, and coordinates with the Naval Military Police Center (Puspomal).

Arief said that his party coordinated with Puspomal because it had obtained evidence of the alleged involvement of active Indonesian Navy members in the case.

"When we carried out the TKP investigation, we carried out the scientific identification method, in which it combines the (evidence) at the TKP, the clues at the TKP, there are clues in the amateur video that convey that there are members of the Indonesian Navy, convey, and we conclude from the facts that the investigation is suspected to be an active TNI," explained Arief.

Then, based on witness testimony, it was seen that someone from the car shot the victim. Therefore, it was concluded that based on witness testimony, CCTV, and several methods, it was concluded that the shooter was the perpetrator.
