PSI Affirms Kaesang Not Entering Structural Danantara

JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Raja Juli Antoni emphasized that PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep was not included in the structure of the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency alias BPI Danantara.

This was emphasized by Raja Juli in response to the many questions related to the joining of Kaesang in Danantara, following a number of posters circulating on social media. The Minister of Forestry emphasized that this was not true, aka hoax.

"There are many questions, Mas Kaesang joins Danantara like a lot of memes/posters circulating? The answer is no. It's just gossip and hoaxes that are made up for certain purposes," said Raja Juli, quoted from his upload to the X account @RajaJuliAntoni, Monday, February 24.

In his upload, Raja Juli shared a portrait of himself with Kaesang in the car after attending the launch of the Danantara at the Merdeka Palace this morning.

Raja Juli welcomed the presence of Danantara launched by President Prabowo Subianto. He hoped that the public would be optimistic about the birth of the investment management agency.

"Ide Danantara is very kind. Like a lidi broom, if it is combined into one, it will be stronger and more useful," he said.

On the other hand, Raja Juli assessed that Danantara must be managed professionally, accountably, and transparently. He hopes that Danantara can achieve its targets, especially in terms of improving the welfare of the Indonesian people.

Previously, PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep had denied that he was included in the structure of the Danantara BPI management.

"No," said Kaesangusai attending the launch of BPI Danantara at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday, February 24.

The son of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jokowi Widodo, admitted that he supports every program of President Prabowo Subianto including BPI Danantara.

"We always support, we support all the President's programs," said Kaesang.

Jokowi was also present at the launch of BPI Danaantara at the Merdeka Palace. A spokesman for the Presidential Communication Office, Hasan Nasbi, said that the former presidents would be involved as advisors.

The former president in question are the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"Later, the former president will be invited to become an advisor so that this institution is truly guarded, guarded by figures who are full of integrity and really love Indonesia," Hasan said.
