Rebuttal Of Heritage Land, Brother Slashed By Adik Kandung With Katana To Death Instantly

The Sukabumi City Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) arrested a man with the initials F (53), a resident of Ciparay Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, who is suspected of having killed his older brother with the initials HG (55).

"We arrested the suspect who lives in Cikahuripan Village, Kadudampit District not long after assaulting the victim to death," said Sukabumi City Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Bagus Panuntun, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, February 23.

According to Bagus, the suspect was arrested at his home without a fight. And from F's hands, evidence was also confiscated, namely a sharp weapon of the type of catana allegedly used to kill his brother.

According to information gathered from the police and several other sources, this incident began when the victim visited the suspect's house on Saturday morning in Ciparay Village.

MG's arrival at F's house aims to resolve the inheritance land dispute. It is suspected that this younger brother had disagreements so that a fight broke out.

The quarrel escalated until F and MG left the house, the suspect, who had been emotional, then took a catana which was then slashed into the victim's body several times.

As a result of the sharp weapon, MG immediately collapsed and soon died at the scene. After killing his brother, F then entered his house and smoked and did not choose to run away.

Residents who saw the incident did not dare to approach, and reported to the Kadudampit Police. Not long after, personnel from the Kadudampit Police Criminal Investigation Unit together with the Sukabumi City Police Satreskrim arrived at the scene.

The police who saw the suspect being relaxed while smoking cigarettes in his house immediately arrested him and taken to the Sukabumi City Police Headquarters for questioning.

At the scene, the police then installed a police line, processed the crime scene (TKP), asked for information from witnesses and evacuated the victim's body to R Syamsudin SH Hospital, Sukabumi City.

"There were six open wounds on the victim's body due to sharp weapons slashing, such as the back of the head, temples, forehead, chest and hands. The victim died at the location allegedly bleeding," he added.

Bagus said that the motive for the case of abuse to death or murder was under investigation. As of Saturday (22/2) night, the suspect was still being questioned by investigators regarding the sadistic actions he had committed against his own brother.

The suspect was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning Premeditated Murder and 338 of the Criminal Code concerning Murder and 351 paragraph 3 concerning Persecution to Death.
