Apple News+ Brings New Features: Recipes, Restaurant Reviews, And Kitchen Tips
JAKARTA - Apple is expanding its Apple News+ service by presenting a new feature called Apple News+ Food on the iOS 18.4 update, in the United States and the United Kingdom, this week. The service presents thousands of selected recipes, restaurant reviews, as well as various kitchen tips, in collaboration with global publishers such as Good Food and Allrecipes.
One of the main features in Apple News+ Food is Cook Mode, which allows users to display recipes in full screen view. Similar to the lyric display on Apple Music, this feature allows users to switch easily between cooking steps and the list of ingredients with a single tap.
This service will be publicly available starting April 2025 for Apple News+ subscribers. However, Apple also confirmed that some selected articles and recipes will be accessed for free by non-customers.
