Raissa Ramadhani Reveals The Enthusiasm Of Work On Initial Albums

JAKARTA - Raissa Ramadhani started something new in 2025. This month, the 24-year-old singer is ready to release her first album which she titled Rinduan Rindu.

After launching several singles under the label Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia since 2022, now is the time for Raissa to enter a new chapter in her musical journey. In addition to the five songs that have been released, there are also several new songs with Fighting Once Again as focus tracks.

Raissa said the process of working on this new single was not much different from the previous single-single recording. But he said there was a distinct impression that he felt during the work.

Even though in general the work is the same as making singles, but there is a feeling of mellow when working on this album and the exciting side too. Allow because this is like a summary of my experience since I first launched my first single on Sony Music until I arrived at the point where my debut album was ready to be released. But, not only feelings of mellow, making this album is also exciting because I work with many cool songwriters and also great vocal directors, such as Om Irvnat, Kak Barsena, Kak Kamga, and Mbak Ayu," he said in a press release received by VOI, February 21.

Assisted by the A&R team, over the past 8-10 months, Raissa has worked to collect songs that she will enter into the album. Her work has also become a challenge because, according to her, there are several songs that feel heavier than those that have been released so that she has to learn even harder in order to convey the meaning of the song well.

Raissa said there would be a surprise embedded in her album.

"If I usually perform ballad songs, on this album, there is one song that has a faster tempo. The title is 'Usually just'. Because this song has a happy feel, so it can bring people who listen to small dances. Honestly, this is very different from my previous songs, "he admits.

Among the 10 songs on this album, Raissa and the A&R Sony Music team chose Fight once again as focus tracks. According to him, this song feels related to Gen Z's current situation, which even though he has been hurt and vented here and there on social media, in the end will come back again.

I think some people have been in an unhealthy relationship. When you fall in love or love someone, we definitely want to make him happy even though we are hurt. However, sometimes it is difficult for us to escape because of feelings of affection that are already too deep so they choose to fight once again for the relationship. However, this song was not made to judge those in that position, instead I want to explain the reason we did that because I was in a phase like them. So, this song takes the point of view of those who struggle to maintain a relationship, even though the relationship is not healthy at all, "explained Raissa.
