Pramono-Rano Officially As Governor-Deputy Governor Of Jakarta, Transition Team Disbands

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ima Mahdiah, stated that the transition team's duties had been completed since Pramono Anung-Rano Karno officially served as Governor-Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta since Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Ima said the transition team had been disbanded because they were only tasked with helping Pramono-Rano reach campaign promises to be outlined as a priority work program.

"The Transitional Team has been completed, we just make sure everything that becomes quick wins runs according to the timeline," Ima told reporters, Friday, February 21.

The Transitional Team has been working for a month and a half since Pramono-Rano was officially appointed as the elected Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta.

The transition team also had several meetings with the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government so that the Pramono-Rano priority program was budgeted for in the 2025 APBD.

After his duties as chairman of the Pramono-Rano transition team were completed, Ima is currently focusing on his duties as chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"In principle, I have returned to being Deputy Chairman of the DPRD. So, I have to oversee what quick wins are from Mas Pram, Bang Doel in 100 days," explained Ima.

On that occasion, Ima believed that the regional head pair promoted by PDIP in the 2024 Pilkada was able to cooperate with members of the DKI DPRD even though they were not of the same political party.

"In principle, we believe that Mas Pram, Bang Doel, can carry out what is the aspiration. In fact, not only from the PDI-P faction, but from all factions in the DPRD," he added.
