Silence On Cancellation Of Concerts In Jakarta, Keshi Makes Fans Furious

JAKARTA - Keshi's cancel appearance in Jakarta has caused great disappointment from fans. One of the ticket holders, Anzi Matta, even expressed his frustration through the comments column on the musician's Instagram account from the United States.

Anzi admitted that he was disappointed that Keshi, who was scheduled to appear at Istora Senayan on February 23, was declared canceled a week before the show in an inappropriate way.

"There is no official statement on Keshi's social media and management. This is quite crucial," said Anzi via text message to VOI, Thursday, February 20.

"We know the information about the cancellation of the concert a week before the concert. Initially, it was based on communication through social media between fans, then information via email and unofficial keshi channel ( Instagram fanpage)," he continued.

For Anzi, the treatment of fans is very bad, given the big name of keshi and his management which already houses many famous artists.

"Why are we angry? Keshi and his management remain silent when fans ask what is our main right which triggers keshi to upload on Instagram stories about success and sold-out concerts only," said Anzi.

This makes fans speculate and become disappointed. That's why I commented, The quiet speaking volumes. Being radio silent aka silent shows less caring or even indifference fans," he added.

Anzi also highlighted PK Entertainment as always a local promoter. He assessed that notification via email without any official statement on social media is an unprofessional way and has disappointed fans who have bought tickets.

The full refund was indeed a promoter's effort to cancel this concert, but Anzi saw that the fans who already held the ticket did not only question financial problems.

"These fans invest not only financially, but also emotionally. Many of the fans are already enthusiastic and save to get to Jakarta," he said.

"In my case, my boy and boy friends from Germany returned to Indonesia by taking time off so they could watch a concert with their partner, well, double-date. Here there is time, energy, and others that are launched."

Meanwhile, the email Anzi got reads, "Dear ticket holder, due to unexpected circumstances, we regret to announce that the Keshi Requiem World Tour Live concert in Jakarta was canceled. All ticket holders will receive full refunds at the original ticket purchase site."

When this article was written, the Keshi concert ticket purchase site in Jakarta, keshitipata2025.com could not be accessed. The promoter page, which previously contained information about the Keshi Requiem World Tour Live program in Jakarta, also shows problems with the server.
