Hit And Run Victim In Cengkareng Turns Out To Be Police Fired
New facts were obtained from the results of the investigation by the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit's Laka Unit regarding the hit-and-run case that killed Dedi Iskandar alias DI (45) on Jalan Auto Ring Road Cengkareng, South direction, near gas station 3411703 Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
The Head of Traffic Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Joko Siswanto, explained that the victim was fired by members of the National Police. When the incident occurred, the victim had become a civilian.
"The person concerned has been PTDH (Disrespectfully Dismissed) from April 2021," said AKP Joko Siswanto to VOI, Thursday, February 20.
Even so, the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit is still investigating the hit-and-run case.

"The identity of the perpetrator is still under investigation," he said.
Previously, a member of the National Police with the initials DI (45) was found dead on Jalan Auto Ring Road Cengkareng, South, near gas station 3411703 Cengkareng, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta. The incident occurred on Tuesday night, February 18.
The victim is a Yamaha Xeon motorcyclist with the number B 3977 BTU with the initials DI. DI is listed as a resident of Bambu Larangan, Kalideres District, West Jakarta. The victim's body was then evacuated to the Tangerang District Hospital.
