Regional Heads to be Trained at Magelang Retreat, Prabowo: If They Doubt, They Can Resign

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated 961 regional heads from 481 regions for the 2025-2030 period at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, Thursday, February 20.

After this inauguration, all regional heads are scheduled to attend a retreat or briefing at the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang, Central Java, on February 21-28, 2025.

Referring to the retreat event in Magelang, Prabowo asked regional heads to prepare themselves so that they can be strong in following the entire process.

"I will meet you there. Hopefully you will be strong in being trained," said Prabowo with a smile greeted by the laughter of the regional heads who were inaugurated.

Jokingly, Prabowo asked regional heads who felt incapable to resign. "Those who are hesitant may resign," said Prabowo.

At the end of his speech, Prabowo advised regional heads to serve the people.

"Do the best for our people," Prabowo Subianto's message ahead of the regional head retreat.
