The Raid On The Ormas Command Post In Meruya, West Jakarta Ends In Peace
JAKARTA The Community Organization (ormas) post in North Meruya, Kembangan, West Jakarta was raided by residents. Residents around the post were furious to see the post being used as a place for a liquor party (alcohol).
The Head of the Kembangan Police, Kompol Moch Taufik Iksan, said that regarding the raid on the post, there had been a peace agreement from both parties, and it was decided by the residents through mediation. Mediation was also witnessed by local community leaders as well as from related mass organizations.
"We have held a family meeting to resolve this problem," said Kompol Taufik when confirmed, Wednesday, February 18.

To anticipate the disturbance of Kamtibmas in the aftermath of the viral video of the raid, the Kembangan Police will cooperate with all local figures.
"We invite all parties to maintain order, make the post a useful place," he said.
In addition, in order to maintain conduciveness, the police also asked members of mass organizations to maintain order.
"We invite all parties to avoid activities that can interfere with comfort," he said.
