Minister Of Education And Technology Satryo Legowo Releases Position: "It's Better To Resign Than Be Dismissed"

JAKARTA - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Mendiktisaintek) Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro admitted that he was relieved by his resignation statement on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

"I have to work with that. I work well, I have no strings attached, I sincerely work. If it doesn't fit, then I just resign better," said Minister of Education and Technology Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro to VOI at the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.

Minister of Education and Technology, Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, arrived at the D Kemendikbud RI building on Wednesday, February 19, at around 14:49 WIB.

He just departed from the State Secretariat after submitting his resignation letter.

"I just went to the State Secretariat to submit my resignation letter as Minister of Education and Technology. Earlier I submitted it to the State Secretariat to be submitted to the President," he said.

Minister of Education and Technology, Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, has the main reason for resigning even though he has only been in office for 4 months.

"The main reason, I have worked hard for 4 months. However, because it may not be as expected from the government. Yes, I would rather resign than be dismissed," he said.
