Woozi And Hoshi Become SEVENTEEN's New Subunit, Ready To Release First Single

JAKARTA - SEVENTEEN will launch a new sub-unit consisting of Hoshi and Woozi. Wednesday, February 19, they revealed the inaugural logo with the words HxW which stands for their name.

A video containing the concept of the logo was first released along with a date that marks the release date. The HxW duo will release their first single album titled BEAM.

The song BEAM will be released on March 10, 2025 at 18.00 local time. It is not yet known whether BEAM is the only single of the duo.

However, this sub-unit is the newest sub of the SEVENTEEN group consisting of 13 members. SEVENTEEN also shared their line into rap, vocal, and performance lines.

Hoshi is a member of the performance line, while Woozi is a member of the vocal line. Both will combine their abilities in this subunit.

Previously, SEVENTEEN founded a sub-unit of BSS or BooSekSeon. BSS consists of Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi. They released various singles that became hits, one of which was Fighting. This year, they released Teleparty as the second single album,

In addition, there is JxW, namely Jeonghan and Wonwoo. Jeonghan comes from the vocal line while Wonwoo comes from the rap line. They released their first song titled This Man on May 30, 2024. Their single album was sold up to 700 thousand copies.

This sub unit was announced after SEVENTEEN completed its latest tour, RIGHT HERE which took place in the United States, Japan, and Asia.

Indonesia is one of the Asian countries visited by SEVENTEEN along with the Philippines, Singapore, and Bangkok.
