Mother Kandung Allegedly Killed Her Child In Semarang, Police Chase Perpetrators

Police officers are investigating the case of the death of a woman named Salamah (62), a resident of Jomblang, Semarang City, Central Java, who died because her biological child was allegedly murdered.

Candisari Sector Police Chief Iptu Rudy Amzah confirmed the incident that occurred on Tuesday (18/2) that night. According to him, the victim died allegedly after being abused by his son with the initials IG (37).

"It is suspected that the perpetrator of the victim's child is being searched," he said in Semarang, Antara, Wednesday, February 19.

According to him, the police have conducted a crime scene investigation and examined a number of witnesses.

Meanwhile, from the information gathered, the incident that killed Salamah occurred on Tuesday night.

The incident was discovered after the victim's neighbor heard a voice asking for help from inside the house. Residents found the victim covered in blood.

The victim died allegedly due to abuse by the perpetrator using a sharp weapon which resulted in injuries to a number of limbs.
