Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya said President Prabowo Subianto was scheduled to inaugurate several state officials at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday today.

The inauguration schedule was revealed by Seskab Teddy amid the issue of replacement (reshuffle) of one of the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, namely the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro.

Information circulating among journalists from Wednesday morning until noon, President Prabowo is scheduled to inaugurate the leadership of the State Password and Cyber Agency (BSSN), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and the Deputy Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

Then, there was also news that the President would announce the name of the minister to replace Satryo, which was rumored to be a professor from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Prof. Brian Yuliarto.

However, until this news was published, no official sources had confirmed the information.

The news of Satryo's replacement as a minister of science and technology began widely after a demonstration by a number of ministry employees on January 20, 2025.

Civil servants of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology at that time protested the sudden dismissal of one of the employees. However, the action then ended peacefully between Satryo and the employee group.

If Satryo is properly replaced, then he will become the first minister of the Red and White Cabinet to be subject to President Prabowo's reshuffle policy after the government passed its first 100 working days.
