Called To Lead Danantara, Rosan Roeslani: I'm The Minister Of Investment

JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani opened his voice regarding the issue of him leading the Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara).

Initially, Rosan was present to open the Hipka National Working Meeting entitled "The Role of Hipka in the Success of the Prabowo-Gibran Program Reaching 8 Percent Economic Growth" at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 19.

After opening the Hipka National Working Meeting agenda, the media crew met him. He didn't talk much about the issue.

According to Rosan, currently he is still Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM. "I, right, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming. That's what I hold, yes," said Rosan.

When asked further about President Prabowo Subianto's readiness to launch Danantara on February 24, Rosan did not provide any information.

He said that at this time he was still carrying out his duties as Minister of Investment. "I, right, Minister of Investment. Anyway (to carry out the task of) investment," he concluded.

Previously, President Prabowo would launch the Indonesian Investment Management Agency (BPI) named Danantara on February 24, 2025. This agency was formed to optimize the country's wealth through strategic investment.

Later, Danantara will consolidate various assets and economic strengths of SOEs so that their management is more optimal.

The formation of the Danantara is based on the third amendment to Law (UU) Number 19 of 2003 concerning State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). This revision was ratified by the DPR on February 4 and includes the arrangement of Danantara's duties and functions as an Investment Management Agency.
