Actor Kim Sae Ron's Funeral Held Closed To The Public

JAKARTA - The funeral of actor Kim Sae Ron was held on Wednesday, February 19 at 06.20 am at Asan Medical Center, Songpa-gu, Seoul. According to a family statement, this funeral was held behind closed doors and was only attended by family and closest friends.

Launching JoongAng Daily, Kim Sae Ron's funeral was held and attended by several artist friends such as Kim Bo Ra, Lee and Park Woo Jin from AB6IX.

Kim Sae Ron passed away on Sunday, February 16 at the age of 24. He was found by a friend at his residence after failing to appear when they were about to meet.

The police stated that there were no signs of a criminal case or letter found at Kim Sae Ron's last place.

Since this sad news circulated, various actors have taken the time to visit the funeral home in turn. Actor Won Bin, who is Kim Sae Ron's co-star in The Man From Nowhere, visited the funeral home in person.

In addition, actor Han So Hee, Kim Bo Ra was also seen visiting the funeral home on February 17. Some of those who could not attend sent funeral flowers such as Ma Dong Seok, IU, Gong Myung, as well as several ASTRO members.

Kim Sae Ron debuted as a model in 2001 and started her acting career in the film Traveler in 2009. However, his name became known thanks to his acting in the 2001 film The Man From everywhere.

He starred in various South Korean films before expanding his wings in dramas and series. In 2022, Kim Sae Ron faced a case of drunk driving which caused damage to public facilities.

Since then, Kim Sae Ron has been seen absent from public activities until he returned to the theater Dongchimi. He also had time to shoot his latest film, Guitar Man, which is his last film.

Kim Sae Ron died at the age of 24.
