The Indonesian Jamu Bahrain National Team, SUGBK Grass Is Threatened Not To Recover Perfectly

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will host Bahrain with grass conditions at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) which is threatened not yet in perfect condition.

This condition was conveyed by PT Harapan Jaya Lestindo, the company appointed to care for and repair stadium grass with a capacity of around 78 thousand seats.

The Indonesian national team will welcome Bahrain on March 25, 2025 at SUGBK. The meeting is a continuation match of the 2026 World Cup Qualification Third Round.

Prior to that match, preparations were made by the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Manager (SUGBK), including collaborating with other parties to continue to improve the quality of the grass.

Different from before, now grass matters are handled by PT Harapan Jaya Lestindo. In their development, they said that they could not guarantee that SUGBK grass could be in perfect condition for March 2025 because the repair time was too tight.

"This short time, we haven't been able to do much," their statement said in response to netizens' comments on Instagram quoted on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

However, PT Harapan Jaya Lestindo said that SUGBK grass could be in prime condition against China in June 2025.

You see, there are different types of grass so that it is not optimal in the previous matches.

"God willing, when against China it is much better. There are other types of grass whose effects will have other grass spots that have different colors and textures."
