Achieved In Racing In Thailand, Marc Marquez Refuses

JAKARTA - Ducati's racer, Marc Marquez, refused when he was predicted to be a winning candidate for the 2025 Thailand MotoGP. Instead, he humiliated and championed Francesso Bagnaia.

Marc Marquez was favored after completing 23 laps in the test in Buriram on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

The Baby Alien only needs an average of 1 minute 30.378 seconds, where the record is faster than the fastest lap of all time ever recorded in Buriram.

The eight-time world champion also topped the joint test session in Buriram for two days. This fact is enough to place Marquez as the top seed in the first race in Thailand, starting at the end of this month.

Nevertheless, Marquez actually champions his factory colleague, Francesco Bagnaia.

"Favorite? No, for me his favorite is Pecco and I am both," said Marc Marquez as quoted by Marca on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

"Last year we finished the season like that. He's been fighting for the title for the last four years and won twice," he said.

Regarding his appearance on the Buriram test, Marc Marquez said that the result was a temporary result where the decisive one was during the main race.

"We compete in MotoGP, each rider is very fast. The test is just a test. How many pre-seasons does a rider go very fast and then?" said the 32-year-old Spaniard.

"So, we're trying to build a good base and we're doing it. However, we'll try to continue with a good balance, which will be very important," he said again.
