Man In Uniform Jersey Persib Escapes While Being Chased By Persija Supporters At Jatinegara Station
JAKARTA - A man in a blue Persib Bandung jersey uniform became the target of a mob at Jatinegara Station, East Jakarta on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at around 14:10 WIB.
The man who was later identified with special needs previously took the Commuter Line train on the day of the rivalry between Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung at the Candrabaga Stadium, Bekasi, West Java.
Then unfortunately, on the train he ran into a group of Persija supporters who also climbed into the same train carriage.
Because he saw a man in the Persib Jersey uniform, the group of supporters from Jakarta then kicked him until the man ran over and over over the station platform.
Luckily, the man in the Persib Jersey uniform was secured by PKD officers from Jatinegara Station from the pursuit of the opposing supporter.
KAI Commuter's Public Relations Manager, Leza Arlan, confirmed the incident.
"The commotion that occurred was true, the incident at Jatinegara Station on Sunday, February 16, at around 14:10 WIB," said Leza when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, February 18.
Leza also deeply regrets that this incident could occur in a public area.

"Public areas should not be a place of noise like the ones in videos circulating on social media," he said.
The battery of the commotion was quelled after officers from Jatinegara Station chased the perpetrators who chased the man in the Persib Bandung jersey uniform.
"Officers who were aware of the commotion immediately intervened the conflicting users. One user who used the attributes of the ball supporter was targeted by other football supporters," he said.
Meanwhile, from the confession of the man in the blue soccer club, he admitted to the officers that he was not aware of the match that day. He said he used body sign language.
"The user who became the victim was immediately taken by officers to be secured to the Poskes room for first aid," he said.
