BAIC Indonesia Announces Support At NOC Indonesia At IIMS 2025

JAKARTA - PT JIO Distribution Indonesia, as the sole agent holding the BAIC brand in the country, announced a collaboration with the Indonesian Team which is part of the Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia) to support national athletes to achieve achievements in the international arena.

This was announced at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 with this brand providing support in the form of sponsorship and loaning two BAIC cars, such as BJ40 Plus and X55 II to become the official Indonesian Team vehicles.

BAIC Indonesia's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dhani Yahya said this collaboration is expected to inspire and unite the nation's children in achieving achievements in the highest arena.

"Through our support for activities from NOC-Indonesia and the Indonesian Team, we hope to make a positive contribution to the development of sports in Indonesia, as well as support athletes to achieve the highest achievements," said Dhani in his opening words at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 18.

He also said that this step was a form of his party's commitment to participate in advancing the economy in the country.

"This is also a manifestation of our commitment to continue investing in Indonesia and participate in advancing the economy and building a positive image of this country in the eyes of the world," added Dhani.

Previously, BAIC Indonesia participated in the world of sports by sponsoring Dewa United in mid-July 2024.

Then, the company also provides support in the world of motorsport with the DEXC Racing Team which will compete in prestigious events at the international level a few days ago.
