Even Though He Is Against PSS Without A Spectator, Ze Gomes Affirms Arema To Stay Focused

JAKARTA - Week 23 of Liga 1 2024/2025 will be faced by Arema FC by hosting PSS Sleman. Held at Soepriadi Stadium, Blitar, on Monday, February 17 at 15.30 WIB, this match will be held without spectators.

Although he will not receive direct support from Aremania in this home match, Ze Gomes as Arema FC coach reminded the players to focus. The reason is, in this match there are three points targets that must be achieved.

In addition, Gomes asked for the full focus of the players in this match also because the Javanese Super Elang does have good player material.

Moreover, there were former Arema FC players who joined PSS, namely Ahmad Figo and Jayus Hariono.

"The training is quite good. The players are in good condition and the mentality of the players is extraordinary. We know meeting PSS Sleman and that's what to do, which is focus on this match," Ze Gomes said in a statement quoted on Monday, February 17, 2025.

"PSS has good player material and we have to focus on work. Hopefully we can bring the three points," he continued.

In the match later, Aremania will be absent from providing direct support because this is a team management decision for budget efficiency. Even so, Gomes still hopes for Aremania's prayers and support from Malang.

"So Aremania can't come here. Maybe the match is also Monday, so it's hard to come because of working days."

"However, we hope for Aremania's support from Malang for this match," said Gomes.
