Enter The Moon Orbit, Blue Ghost Wahana Will Land On March 2nd
JAKARTA Blue Ghost, a spacecraft belonging to Firefly Aerospace, has entered the Moon's territory. The lander has shared a clearer image of the first month as it is taken from a closer distance.
According to Firefly's explanation, this image was taken after the Blue Ghost performed a Lunar Orbit Investigation (LOI) or maneuver to reach lunar orbit. This maneuver was successfully carried out and the Blue Ghost will land within a few days.
"Blue Ghost will now spend 16 days in lunar orbit and perform additional maneuvers to carry lander rides from elliptical orbits into circular orbits around the Moon," Firefly said via its official blog, quoted on Monday, February 17.
During the LOI, Firefly admitted that he had succeeded in carrying out the most challenging burning stage. The reason is, not all rides managed to survive during the arson to enter the orbit of the moon.

The LOI was carried out on February 13 for about four minutes 15 seconds with the RCD Blue Ghost booster and the main engine. Once successful, now NASA and Firefly Aerospace will prepare a live broadcast to watch the Blue Ghost landing on the Moon.
The lander carrying the NASA instrument is expected to land on Sunday, March 2 at 3:45 p.m. local time. They will land the Lue Ghost near Mare Crisium, the mainland near the Moon.
The Blue Ghost landing broadcast will be broadcast on NASA+ and YouTube Firefly Aerospace. After the landing is successful, NASA and Firefly will hold a press conference to discuss the mission that is part of the Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) initiative.
