Kim Sae Ron Dies At The Age Of 24, The Investigation Process Is Still Ongoing

JAKARTA - Young actress Kim Sae Ron was announced dead on Sunday, February 16. Seoul Seongdong Police confirmed the news to the public after receiving a report at 17.00 local time.

"There were no criminal signs when breaking into (the apartment) and we are investigating the exact reason he died," the police said.

"We ask for considerations for the deceased and the bereaved family so that the public does not speculate on the reason he died. We ask for an understanding that the police have not been able to confirm," he said.

The report that came to the police was Kim Sae Ron's friend who arrived at the actress's residence and found her unconscious.

Kim Sae Ron is a former child actress who debuted in 2009 with the film A Brand New Life. She starred in a row of well-known Korean films and dramas that made her name even more known.

He last acted through the Bloodhounds series in 2023 with Lee Sang Yi and Woo Do Hwan.

This news is sad news for various parties including his former agency, Gold Medalist. In May 2022, Kim Sae Ron's exclusive contract ended after he was caught driving drunk.

Kim Sae Ron passed away at the age of 24.
