Weather Forecast In Various Regions Of Indonesia Today
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that on Monday, February 17, various areas in Indonesia experienced rain with a number of areas experiencing significant weather, such as the potential for light rain in Medan, Jakarta, Makassar, Surabaya, and thunderstorms in Bandung.
In a statement quoted by ANTARA, BMKG weather forecaster Andika F. Hapsari said that for Sumatra Island, the weather is expected to be thick cloudy in Banda Aceh and Tanjung Pinang, as well as light rain in Medan, Pekanbaru and Padang.
Then, the weather is predicted to have light rain in Jambi, besides that there is the potential for moderate rain in Bengkulu City.
Beware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in the cities of Palembang, Pangkal Pinang, and Bandar Lampung.
For Java, light rain is expected to flush several cities, including Serang, Jakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. In addition, there is the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Bandung.
Meanwhile, in Bali and Nusa Tenggara, the weather is expected to be cloudy in Mataram, light rain in Denpasar, and rain with moderate intensity in Kupang.
As for the island of Kalimantan, the weather is expected to be thick cloudy in Pontianak, as well as light rain in Tanjung Selor, Samarinda, and Banjarmasin. In addition, rain accompanied by lightning is expected to flush Palangka Raya.
