Taekwondo's Attractions And Traditional Dances Enliven The Closing Of The 2025 Kasal Cup

JAKARTA - Taekwondo Dance Choreo attraction and Korean Traditional Dance enlivened the closing of the Taekwondo Kasal Cup championship which was held at the Purna Krida Sports Building, Badung Regency, Bali, on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

The closing of this event caught the attention of the audience with a spectacular performance from Taekwondo Dance Choreo and Korean Traditional Dance.

"It was really cool earlier and the dance. Hopefully our children can (the ability) be like that," said Siti and Komang, the audience who attended the event.

A number of spectators, especially children and mothers, even had time to fight to take pictures and greet the performers.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Naval Staff Admiral TNI Muhammad Ali said that this year's championship was not just an ordinary competition, but a tangible manifestation of the Indonesian Navy's support for national sports development and the improvement in the achievements of Indonesian athletes in the international arena.

"This event is an implementation of the Great Design of National Sports (DBON) which is one of the focuses of the Asta Cita program of President Prabowo Subianto," said Kasal.

Admiral Muhammad Ali congratulated the achievements that have been achieved and thanked the countries that have participated in the Taekwondo championship. He also encouraged the younger generation to love sports, especially self-defense.

"The achievement achieved today is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a higher achievement in the future," said Muhammad Ali.

The categories contested in the general category include Kyorugi, Cadet, Junior, and Senior Achievements. Kyorugi Beginner Pra Cadet, Cadet, Junior, and Senior.

Poomsae Achievements Cadet, Junior, and Senior, to Poomsae Beginner in the pre- Cadet, Cadet, Junior, and Senior classes.

Meanwhile, in the TNI-Polri category, this year's Kasal Cup competes in two categories, namely Kyorugi in Senior Class and Poomsae in Senior Class.

The best athlete contingents who managed to come out as winners were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals in the contested categories, namely the General Champion of the Achievement Category, the General Champion of the TNI-Polri Category, the General Champion of the Beginner, Best Team, and Best Athletes Category.

This activity is also part of a series of international training of the Indonesian Navy, namely the 5th Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo (MNEK) 2025.

The presence of six friendly countries Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Uzbekistan, and Timor Leste has given their own colors and made this event a vehicle for learning and self-development to a higher level.
