Next Week Paulus Tannos Extradition Files Will Be Sent To Singapore

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the file requested by Singapore to extradite its fugitive, Paulus Tannos, would soon be sent. The exact time but the KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika has not yet detailed.

"The information I got from investigators is that next week, all files requested by Singapore will be sent using an introduction from the Ministry of Law," Tessa told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, February 14.

Tessa said one of the files requested was that Paulus Tannos would be brought to trial in connection with the corruption case in the procurement of electronic identity cards (e-KTP).

"So we hope that in the near future there can be another update, yes. So the information is next week. Whether it's Monday or Tuesday the file will be sent," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

"If there is an update later, if it has been sent, it will be informed," continued Tessa.

Previously reported, Paulus Tannos, who is the President Director of PT Sandipala Arthapura, was finally arrested by Singaporean authorities after being on the wanted list since 2021. He was named a suspect in the corruption case in the procurement of electronic identity cards (e-KTP) by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in 2019.

At that time he was named by the KPK as a suspect along with three other people, namely Isnu Edhi Wijaya as the former President Director of the Indonesian State Printing Corporation (PNRI); 2014-2019 DPR RI member Miryam S Haryani; and former Head of the Information Technology Technical Team for the Application of e-KTP Husni Fahmi.
